Currently he serves as the President of Pasco-Hernando State College in New Port Richey, FL.
Dr. and Sister Beard have been married for 30 years. To this union God has blessed them with three children: Samuel Gavin (deceased), Briana Princess and Sierra Nicole.

The Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ is a church that stands on the solid foundation. We are striving daily to seek out holiness in our lives and deny ourselves of fleshly desires so we can lead others to Jesus Christ through our worship, sacrifices, joy, and the glory of God in our lives. We are a church where the preaching and teaching of God's Word is relevant, the praise is intentional and the fellowship is warm and welcoming.
The Progressive Church is a "mission-minded" church that preaches the uncompromised Word of God to lost souls. We give God all the glory for what He has done. He has indeed done great and marvelous things.
I encourage you to seek God's purpose in your life. Knowing His purpose will focus your energy, simplify your decisions, give meaning to your life, and most importantly, prepare you for eternity.
